At my work place, they kept on playing love songs since Valentine is coming. Some of the songs would be sad ones like Beyonce-Broken Hearted Girl and i suddenly would emo at my own counter.haha
I mean, it's gonna be fun for people who are attached but what about people who are not?like me?like you? One thing single people dun look forward to would be Valentines. You guys know why? because we single or should i say carefree people would feel envy of others who would be receiving gifts and flowers on Valentines.
Worst is, i would be working on Valentines and would have to bear all mushy sights! have to bear bumping into couples deeply engrossed in kissing in some corner! have to bear being the one without gifts or flowers!
Gosh, tmr i need to check if any of my colleagues from other counters are working afternoon shift on Valentines Day so i know i will have company for dinner time! One thing you dun want to have to face on Valentine Day is to be seen/travel alone. Dat would be embarassing.
Thinking on the positive side, carefree people still can celebrate Friendship Day rite? February 14 is not just a day for lovers but also friends ok! provided your friends are carefree people too la.haha.Too bad i would be working on that day and my off day would be the next day.
But i dun mind my friends surprising me by coming down to my work place and bringing me my favourite Sunflower! I love surprises you know. ehemehemehem*hint*hint.lol
p/s: should i bring my own gift with me on feb 14 just to not be the only one without gifts? or should i hire sumone to act as my lover and bring me flower,cakes,gifts and everything nice at my work place and act surprise? or should i find a lover before feb 14? or should i just dun bother as celebrating it would cost money that can instead be used to splurge on myself? which one should i choose??
