As promised, pics from National Day Celebration up till the Popeye outing after exams.

I dread PTC as it is such a waste of time for me and i am sure all students and parents dread PTC too. Its just like we go to the school, wait for quite some time for our turn, then the parents and teacher will shake hands and whatsoever and then the teacher will complain bout us. I bet the teachers expect some strong reaction from our parents after hearing what they have to say but guess wat? i tink our parents will trust us more la.lol. We just need to have a good thinking mind to make watever the teacher say to sumting positive. Its called manipulation.lol
My usual trick on my results i guess is similar to some of you guys too. its"the rest of my class oso do badly. Even the clever ppl find all the paper very difficult. Then we have only a short period of time to study and how to study when teachers always give alot of hmwk?" sounds familiar?haha. well i guess great mind thinks alike right?
Do u guys notice dat when its exams period, you will get tis sort of jitters and the atmosphere kinda change? i always get dat kinda feeling during exams period but i somehow dun feel any jitters for my Prelims. I am nto sure if it is a good ting or a bad ting?
Good as it means i am prepared for the exams so i dun feel stress out. Bad as it means i dun care about the prelims and not in the exam mood. From my own point of view, i tink i dun feel jitters as i am oready used to exams. Basically because before my prelims, each week i have maths-chem test and i guess test is the same as exam. Only dat exams are counted in your report book.
Teachers say dat your prelims results show roughly if your prepared to sit for your 'O' level exams and also approximately what you will get for your Os. Somehow i guess alot of ppl dun really tink much bout the Prelims. Absent for papers and those who come mostly never even study abit and just come to avoid going thru the troubles of getting a medical certificate. Common response i get when i ask friends wether they have studied anot is " dun need study la, 'O' level than study".
I feel dat the government is putting pressure on us students as they are raising the academic level high and i think not most students are ready for dat. Looking on the positive side, it is for our own benefit. Competition to get jobs are very high now and for a country to prosper and advance, i guess the academic level and the people competence level must be high. Singaporeans can't possibly wanna be like those backward countries right? Say India?.
I guess with our academic level very high, it will attract alot of foreigners to come to Singapore and study here. With more student foreigners, our social circle will also be more international right, then the longing to marry sumone of another nationality won't be that difficult.lol.
so let's make some sacrifices for our FUTURE! Malaysia Boleh, WE also Boleh! haha.
Anw i feel dat my money is flowing out like running water leh. Kinda broke oready. Then tis saturday going out. Argh, i hate going out with limited cash. Well to refresh my mind on wat i spent my money on and gonna spend on.
- Maisarah's Present( $?? )
- Teachers day present( 2 items appx $6)
- Ticket for dunnoe wat? ($2)
- Outing( appx $30)
-Teacher's Day celebration[Cake,food,drinks($6)]
Not alot of stuff but money spent on pressies cost a lot. The ticket i bought is actually for a showcase which i dun even noe wat it is about la. Aqila invited me as she say its to support Kim Siong and i just got to noe it will be at the Cornerstone Church Auditorium? which is at Katong. So i need at least 30 bucks for recreation and food. For teacher's day present gonna diy sumting totally cool and gonna buy a necklace/bracelet for Mrs Cho with Amirah and Zulaika. The diy ting is cool but not sure if there will be time to do dat. Then for the teacher's day celebration tingy has yet to be confirmed.
And if we need to plan, it will definitely be the same group of ppl who need to plan for everyting. In a classroom, there will always be different groups of ppl. I would for sure belong to the enthusiastic group. Then there will be the Anything group( the one dat always say"anyting la, i anyting oso ok"), the weird ppl(like Jovin), the loner, the vain pots. Dats basically it la. I actally dun mind planning for tis kinda stuff along wit some others enthusiastic ppl but wat i dread bout planning is dat usually tis kinda ting you would need money right? then we will have to collect money and there will always be a few ppl who dun want to fork out money. After much pesteration and threatening(always work.lol.) then they will be willing to give.
Then there will also be certain ppl dat dun want to help in the planning but after we have planned everyting out so nicely, they will complain dat our plan is not good. Dats really frustrating ok. One more frustrating ting is dat some ppl dun want to get involve in anyting. Lets say we have games, they dun even want to take part in it. And ooh! the ting dat frustrates me the most. It is when it comes to food and cake, ppl who plans always get the least to eat! Not Fair! ppl who dun help in the cooking or offer to help cook would keep on eating and take large amounts. Fine you all are greedy pigs but they woudl go to the extent of littering and not help in clearing up the class! BUNCH OF PIGS! no pigs is way too nice. BUNCH OF BARBARIANS! well dats the only word i can tink of.lol.
You see how hard it is to plan stuff, not only do we have to crack our brains on the major stuff but oso the minor stuff. Its like taking care of toddlers in a Toddler Party!
ooh, i have to go and study now. I need to memorise a whole chunk of stuff! argh.
Kamsa Hamnida!
