One more thing i'm sad about is my Food&Nutrition results, i think everybody who took the subject is. I got 70-74 for my practical(cooking of the food) and need to only get 60-65 to get an A2 for my Food& Nutrition. Meaning even if i were to just pass with 50 points, i would still get atleats a B4. Guess wat, i got a D7 leh! Even my classmates who scored very high for their practical and need to score just 50 marks for the paper to get an A1 meaning they can fail terribly and still get a B4 scored only B3 leh. Meaning they scored for like 30+marks for their paper?
But after calling my Food&Nutrition paper, she told me that the practical marks were given by her and we were also told that people from MOE i think who marks it can give us even lower marks. Plus, the teachers who marks now are younger teachers meaning they can be very strict or dumb as to follow the answer blindly that they cannot even see if our answers come close to the given answers. Stupid teachers!
But my mum said sumting dat sort of let me get over all the sadness. She said, atleast you didn't have Tuition and still did sort of better than those who did. Those people who had tuition and did terribly are the one who should be ashamed of themselves. Haha, quite true hor. But i still could have done better.
At least i'm better than some of my classmates who had tuition and was so proud of it before and they like only got 1 or 2 points better than me lor. Meaning the tuition they over-paid for could only give them like 1 or 2 points advantage than those who had no tuition? 1 or 2 points could be alot but they can't even go to the course they want and whats left for them are the courses they dun want.
Anw, now i'm still considering taking my Private O for 2-3 subjects or maybe just taking the Higher Nitec Course. Quite interested in Event Management and Leisure and Travel Operations. But its ITE leh! People have bad impression bout it and so did i.
I mean there's like an awfully alot of Malays there and most of them are Mat and Minah Reps(ah beng and ah lian malay version.haha)! My friends would know how i make friends. I stick around better with Chinese people and i have like higher standards for making Malay friends. Not being cocky, i still have malay friends that i'm close with but one thing is that they have the same mindset like mine.lol. Cannot say it here ah. If you guys want, can ask in MSN:D Plus not all people in ITE wanna study and what if i'm influenced? Plus what if i turn to be a typical Malay AH Beng??
OMG!! cant even imagine it lor. Therefore i have made a plan. IF i were to go to ITE, Higher Nitec plz..More ATAS(higher standard) OK.lol. I will change the mindset of people especially my family members that ITE is not bad. Actually ITE is ok, the students are the one dat is bad. SO i will rephrase my sentence. I will make people especially my family members have a change of mindset that good students do exist in ITE. I will also hang around good human beings only. AND most importantly, i WOULD NOT BECOME A MAT REP!!! i would list this three things in my New Year Resolution la hor:D
