You know the times when you want something real badly that you are willing to do anything for it and it happens to be quite difficult to get. It will be even harder with competition. Because you want it so much, you decided to be selfish and not tell anyone about it just so that your chances of getting it would be higher.
It seems that your dream is so near but yet so far. It is like the clear blue sky, you can see it everyday and it seems so near to you but when you try to reach for it, you realize that it is actually further away than what you expected.
For me, i believe in the power of attraction and i know that people's perception and thinking of your life will play a part to how your future would be like. I was also told that if you want something real badly and you believe you can do it, you dun have to tell anyone about your decision as their response can affect the outcome.
For example, you want to join a singing competition, you know you can do it and have the ability and talent to do so. You decided to tell a group of friends. So their reply was
"You wanna join that competition? you sure anot? your voice nice meh? skali you first round of the audition oso cannot make it"
Little did you know that that response you got from your friend could be the reason to why you really cannot clear the first round of audition. It is because their response keeps on bugging you and you yourself begins to doubt your talent and ability. When you have no confidence, definitely it will all come out wrong and you really did not get thru the first round of audition.
Some people might not believe in the power of attraction and think its bullshit but i don't. I can confidently say that all those successful businessman, entertainers, singers became what they become today due to the confidence and positivity they have inside of them. If you are a singer for instance, a few minutes before your performance when you see the huge crowd out there, you began to say
"wa jialat ah jialat. Confirm cannot make it one. What if i fall down walking in this 10 inch heels. Mati ah"
That negativity would be all around you and you are so paranoid about slipping and in the end you really slipped. Being cautious is great but being over-cautious is not!. Not believing in yourself and dampening your confidence level would not help you put up a great show. Before going on stage, successful singers would say this instead
" A large audience came down to support me today(even if they never come to support you, just think so la.lol), i will do my best to put up a great show and let them be entertained. I will have fun out there and show them my singing capabilities"
The positivity will help you and you will put up a great show.
Also dun let me people's comments affect you. For me, what people think of me and say about me does affect me and i do not want the thing i really have dreamt of to not become a reality because of people's comment and thinking. It is very close and i know i stand a chance like any other people who want it oso. So for once, can i be selfish?
The thing i want would not be kept a secret for long but long enough till i know i really stand a chance and for it to be near to reality. Till then i would be selfish.
