One thing dat i am really 100% sure bout Humans is dat we always want to find the easy way out. Seldom do we want to take the longer way to get to our destination or fulfill what we wanna do. There are so many examples to prove this statement dat Humans always wanna take the easy way out or concised to a word dat we like to use which is LAZY! Humans are plain lazy, even when we are driving,walking.. we would always want to find the shorter route to go to our destination. We dun want to spend the unnecessary time going through the longer route.
Even when doing our work, solving maths for instant.. we would still use a calculator to calculate a simple sum like 5x6. Some people(like me) would definitely say dat they are making full use of the technology dat we have, but have you ever taught why this appliance was even first made? i am not sure if it is true but i guess it is because those inventors know that Humans are lazy by nature so they make this appliances to make life easier for us. On the other hand, the appliance could also be made to make it easier for us to calculate difficult sums as other than Singapore becoming more advance technology wise, Singapore is also becoming more advance academically wise. The standard has been raise so high up.
But i still believe that Humans are becoming more lazy, if u compare ppl 15 years ago and ppl now, u will seldom see the children helping the mum in doing houseworks. Well of course now with the number of maids available now, ppl would rather hire maids to do their houseworks for them rather than them having to do it themselves. Ppl would also take a cab, bus or drive their own car just to travel to a shop which is like just only a few blocks away from their house. No wonder the number of obese ppl in Singapore has increased.
Ppl now are also lazy to cook thus would stock their house with all those frozen foods which you just need to fry before being able to eat, ordering fast foods home is also an option. 15 years ago it may still be said that if a girl is unable to cook, it is hard for her to get married. But now, that is not a issue anymore since maids are available and the no shortage of foodstalls around. Women now are also scared to cook as they are scared the hot oil will splutter onto their delicate skin. Men now oso i tink dun take being able to cook as the main characteristics for their future wife. I think they look more to wether their wifes are Hot and Sexy enough or not. Still being able to cook is still a plus point for Womens but Men now are oso able to cook ok!
Humans are also weird in a sense that they want to achieve sumting but are unwilling to work for it. Base on own experience, i would always say that i want to score well for my exams and i prayed so hard for it but i am not willing to spend time settling down with a book at hand and revising. Eventhou some teachers say dat u must not forget to pray before exams, dat soen't mean dat u will score well just by praying ok.. A little effort( or ALOT) is still needed for you to achieve what u want.
The most common example to show what i really mean by saying dat Humans want to achieve sumting but are unwilling to work for it is Losing Weight. As u know, Talks are cheap! u wun be able to lose weight just by saying dat u wanna lose weight ok. Dieting alone oso doesn't help in losing weight, some ppl are so desperate to lose weight and tell ppl bout it but they are just lazy to exercise to lose those weights. They tink by just dieting and eating lesser will help to reduce ther weight but they are wrong! Exercise plays the most important role in it by helping u lose weight and ensuring u are in good health along with a proper diet.
Humans would oso tend to say that they hate someone so much behind the persons back but when infront of that person, they are so nice towards them. Like what is that about? i just can;t understand it, why must you act to like dat person when in reality u hate dat person( as said)? dat is so Hypocritical. Of coz u would not have the heart to treat that person badly when dat person treat u nicely right. You can be nice to the person but not to the extent that u become so close to him/her but still talk bad things behind his/her back. Worst, if u declare that you are very close with him/her. Ppl will fnd it hard to trust you ok coz ppl would think wether you are the same towards them or not. Like i said, Talks are cheap! you gotta mean wat u say.
Since i touched on gossiping, i woule like to say that all those ppl who say they dun gossip are all LIARS! lol.. I am sure everyone will definitely make a comment on sumone's dressing or behaviour when a person walk pass them in Orchard Road for instant. They would definitely say sumting like
" OMG! what is she wearing?"
or
"she like Slut sia,look at how she dresses and how she flirts!"
dat is oso gossiping as u are still talking behind the person's back..haha. And i personally think gossiping is inevitable as there are always sumting for you to gossip about everywhere u go. Even in your own work place or Class..lol and i love to Gossip so if u wanna gossip, u can ask me along! :D
Talking bout ppl's dressing, i oso cannot understand why Humans like to question ppl fashion sense? everyone is an individual and have their own uniqueness. So no one i believe can be the same like anyone else. Not even twins will like or dislike the same thing right. So its better to let ppl wear wat they want and behave in the manner they want..
After all dat is said, i am not saying dat i dun do all those ting like gossiping bout ppl and all but i am just not sure why Humans act dat way. I think only by asking God who created us will we know why we act dat way right? anyway i just wanna share sumting dat i am sure all of u have already know about and dat is Nobody's Perfect. Everyone have their shortcomings and as Humans, we are always bound to make mistakes. Just remember dat it is never too late to amend things. I mean some things and not all..
